My creative space over the last few weeks has been mostly about the sticks. Especially sticks with points at both ends!
I'm finally beginning to make what feels like progress again on my Ishbel hat (this attempt has been a WIP since February!!), but I'm very slow to learn that trying to knit a lacy pattern after 9.30 at night is a recipe for disaster... Three rows forward, two rows back, argh! Moving from circs to dpns should help progress a bit I think. It was taking almost as long to move the next group of stitches into knitting position as it was to knit them!
I suspect that all of you proper knitters out there are truly amazed at the speed that I'm knitting this (very small) object, but I'm working towards winning the award for the slowest knitter ever. Just in case you were wondering!
