The weather has been thoroughly awful even with the air conditioning on. We are just getting the rain now after that awful duststorm blew through and turned everything a nice dusty red color, ugh! I hope the rain stays for the whole week now.
Very happy with the 'cool change' (at least i am happy with today's - Sunday's temp). I think this is why I do love Melbourne.... You just never really know what you're going to get. Peta
Meal planning is on hold for the moment as we settle in to life with a newborn. We are being supplied with meals by wonderful friends most nights, and have a freezer full of meals to be eaten on other nights. We will hopefully return to some kind of predictable evening rhythm in the next few weeks as the fog (hopefully) begins to clear!
I'm a 30-something mother of one currently on extended maternity leave. I have crafted in some form for most of my life, but have only recently discovered the true joy of finishing things! At the moment, I cook, knit, crochet, sew and parent. And read. I read a lot, so some of that might find it's way here too! Thanks for visiting.

I hope so - it was 39 degrees C an hour ago - revolting!

Geez - it was only a max of 22 here today... sounds like there has been a lot of sweltering going on though.
That weather looks very familiar...Pretty much the exact same over here in Louisiana today :) Enjoy

Oh how nice has it been with a couple of rainy days. We just sat and looked at the pouring rain in awe. It was great!
